Alpha Aaron had a hard fall from grace after being labeled a traitor to his kind and imprisoned. To redeem himself, he was selected to marry and seduce his new bride, Melina, to help his kind get power in the new order. Willing to serve his penance, he accepts his fate with his own caveat, that he cannot fall in love. Tormented by actions from his past, he closes his heart as punishment. Only, he begins to fall for his lovely bride, despite her futile trickery to get him to leave her.

While the pair fight their desires for each other, they must also protect themselves from mysterious creatures attacking and killing other fae forced into the treaty marriages.

Can they overcome their stubbornness and find love with each other or will their marriage also lead to a gruesome demise?
